Requires full sun in well-drained, average garden soil. Tolerant of poor soils, drought, summer heat and humidity. Intolerant of wet soils in winter. Unusual blooming pattern - with blossoms opening from the top down. A wonderful cut flowers which adds great vertical accent in the garden, and to any floral arrangement as well (see additional tips under 'notes' tab).
