Veronicas are among the most useful and trouble-free of hardy perennials -- neat, compact plants that remain beautiful even when not in bloom. An abundance of long blooming, sky blue flowers, bloom late winter to early spring. Low growing, vigorous, purple tinged, medium green foliage. Excellent as a groundcover over spent spring bulbs, edger, and in containers. Prefers sun to light shade in average, well-drained soil.
