Slow, spreading cultivar that quickly forms dense mats of fleshy, bright-green leaves, often tinged salmon pink. Clusters of starry white to pale pink flowers in summer. This plants roots where it touches, so a little soon goes a long way. An excellent ground cover for a sunny, dry spot. Site in sun to part shade in well-drained soil.
Indoors or in greenhouse, grow tender species in a mix of 3 parts soil-based potting mix, 2 parts grit, and 1 part leaf mold, in full light, with good ventilation.
In the growing season, water moderately and apply a half-strength, balanced liquid fertilizer every month.
Water sparingly in winter.
Outdoors, grow in moderately fertile, well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil in full sun.
