Low growing groundcover. Green and snowy-white foliage with overlays of pink. Flowers are pink to rose-mauve in color, blooming 2-4 weeks in June and July. Full sun to partial shade in average well-drained soil. Attractive to butterflies and other pollinators. Drought tolerant once established.
Indoors or in greenhouse, grow tender species in a mix of 3 parts soil-based potting mix, 2 parts grit, and 1 part leaf mold, in full light, with good ventilation.
In the growing season, water moderately and apply a half-strength, balanced liquid fertilizer every month.
Water sparingly in winter.
Outdoors, grow in moderately fertile, well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil in full sun.
