Reliable and long-lived, upright plant, with long-lasting flower spikes that appear in early to mid-summer, and again in fall. Remove spent flowers to promote rebloom. Prefers full sun in average, well-drained soil. Avoid overhead watering, if possible, to prevent mildew. Performs best in cooler climates. Cut back to rosette of leaves at the base for overwintering.
