A German introduction that boasts one of the truest blue flower spikes of the hardy Salvias!

Reliable and long-lived, upright plant, with long-lasting flower spikes that appear in early to mid-summer, and again in fall. Remove spent flowers to promote rebloom. Prefers full sun in average, well-drained soil. Avoid overhead watering, if possible, to prevent mildew. Performs best in cooler climates. Cut back to rosette of leaves at the base for overwintering. Grow in border or container. Blooms the first year! Considered drought tolerant and deer resistant once established. Attractive to butterflies!

Common Name: Meadow Sage

Mature Height:18-24"

Flowering: Blue flower spikes mid-summer and again in fall

Spacing: 18"
