A tough, durable, evergreen groundcover forms dense mats of pine needle-like foliage. Pristine white flowers bloom profusely from mid to late spring with loose clusters of 1"star shaped flowers. Plant in full sun, in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Regular watering best, and avoid overhead watering if possible. Excellent on steep banks for erosion control, in rock gardens, and for edging flower beds. To stimulate fresh growth, shear plants back after flowering before mid-August (buds set in fall).
