This is a delightful and durable addition to the perennial border. Topping the three foot stalks in early June, are lightly fragrant clusters of purple-violet flowers 5-6" wide, and with a dependable long bloom period. Each of the large flowers has a white blush towards the eye, which makes them more visible from a distance, and adds extra sparkle in the garden. Very mildew resistant, and bred to be disease resistant, this perennial is untroubled by pests. Plant about 18-20" apart to provide good air circulation, and prevent mildew, in rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Makes an excellent cut flower and is considered deer resistant when mature. Common Name: Tall Garden Phlox
Mature Height: 24-36"
