This is such a great looking grass. I've tried other grasses that offer burgundy color, but this is the only one that really stands out for me.
I can't believe this sale price! I just placed an order for 30 plants to place throughout my landscape. Even as an annual grass, this price can't be beat.

great bloomer and what great contrast color for a perennial bed! Too bad it's not hardy, but it grows so fast that it can be planted in spring and looks great within weeks. Maybe the new Prince and Princess from Athens Select will prove to be hardier. Till then, I'll keep planting purple fountain grass each spring.

I live in zone 5 so the purple fountain grass is an annual plant for me. I have ordered from Santa Rosa the past 2 years and they have excellent quality plants and very good service. I worried due to the fact that they are so far away.
But they arrived looking very healthy and larger than I expected. I would highly recommend this company to do business with. Thumbs up to you!
