‘Karley Rose’ is a cultivar of P. oriental that is distinguished from the species by having deeper green foliage, darker, smoky rose-purple flower spikes that are larger and fuller, longer bloom period extending into September and better winter hardiness. Use as a specimen grass, or as a group planting. The foliage and attractive flower spikes of 'Karley Rose' provide excellent texture, color and contrast to borders, foundations and open areas.
