Thanks to grass enthusiast, Rick Darke, we now have another outstanding addition to our native grass list. 'Dewey Blue' has a graceful habit and lovely glaucous blue foliage. It grows best in dry sand and loamy soils. Blue-tinged flowers appear in late summer to early fall, followed by beige seed heads that persist well into winter. Stems reportedly retain vertical form without flopping throughout the growing season and into winter.Common Name: Dewey Blue Switch Grass
