Ornamental Grass Forms
Ornamental Grasses come in a variety of shapes and forms to fit in nearly any landscape application. There are six primary forms of ornamental grass foliage and shape. They are as follows

Tufted
 Fine textured, spikey foliage. Example: Festuca Elijahs Blue

Mounded  Weeping foliage that droops over the leaves below. Example: Pennisetum a. Moudry

Upright
 Vertical, erect foliage, growing uniformally. Example: Typha latifolia
|
Upright Divergent
 Vertical, erect foliage that grows up and out in a divergent manner. Example: Helictotrichon sempervirens

|
Upright Arching
 Foliage grows vertically, then cascades outward like a fountain. Example: Miscanthus s. Graziella
