Muhlenbergia lindheimeri is a Texas Native grass that grows around streams in the warm season months. Lindheimer's Muhly has an upright growth habit and blue-green foliage. In the fall this grass will bloom, the flowers are at first pink-tinted then later fade to tan. A great choice for the landscape, bringing contrast with the upright foliage and also this grass is non-invasive. Best for dry sites but this muhly grass can tolerate some wet conditions if the soil is well drained. Common Name: Lindheimer's Muhly
