Miscanthus sinensis Variegatus

Used in garden landscapes since the beginning of the 20th century, 'Variegatus' remains one of the best selling varieties of miscanthus on the market today. White and green variegated foliage arches heavily creating a very wide, clump forming mound. Coppery flower plumes mid-September. Ideal as a specimen, mass planted, for screening or at the waters edge. Prefers well-draining soil in full sun to partial shade. Considered deer resistant once established.
