'Strictus' is well recognized for its stunning gold-banded foliage. Ideal for garden, landscape or at water's edge. Its growth habit is very upright, resembling porcupine quills. Fall bloom period, opening to coppery-red plumes, which turn silver in fall, and raise the overall height to 8-9' tall. Beautiful winter presence with evergreens in the garden.
