A German cultivar sporting large, feathery seed heads, blooming light pink and fading to silver. The plumes rise high above the foliage as early as late August, blooming well before Miscanthus 'Gracilimus' and many other Maiden Hair grass varieties. Its clump forming, deep green foliage has a distinct silver midrib and a gracefully arching shape. One of the more cold-hardy of the miscanthus. Prefers well-draining soil in full sun.
