One of the best and most sought after miscanthus varieties. 'Morning Light' is perfectly suited for the garden. It is a compact grower and offers a similar fine textured appearance to that of 'Gracillimus'. Its leaves are also narrow and its form neat and arching. A late bloomer, the blooms are reddish-bronze, appearing as late as October, turning cream with age. Noticeable white-edged variegation. Makes a wonderful container plant. Prefers well-draining soil and full sun to partial shade. Considered deer resistant once established. Common Name: Variegated Maiden Grass
Mature Height: 4-5'
Flowering: Plumes appearing late summer and fall
Spacing: 3-4'
