A real dwarf miscanthus, forming a tiny mound of pointed, arching, narrow, green foliage topped with pink tinged, creamy-white plumes in late summer and fall. Cute as a kitten and won't grow into a cat! Full sun to part shade, in medium wet, well-drained soil, but has some drought tolerance. Provides winter interest in the garden. Good fresh cut or dried flower. Cut foliage back to ground in early spring just before new leaf blades appear. Considered deer resistant once established. Common Name: Dwarf Maiden Grass
Mature Height: 15" foliage, 30" plumes
Flowering: Plumes in late summer and fall
Spacing: 12-18"
