Miscanthus sinensis Graziella
A wonderful introduction by Ernst Pagels, 'Graziella' has very similar attributes to 'Gracillimus'. A warm season, clump forming grass. Its green, silver-veined foliage is fine and narrow, upright and arching, with very attractive blooms held high above the foliage.
Blooms open rather early, in August, making 'Graziella' a highly recommended and excellent selection for northern growers. Foliage becomes a brilliant reddish-orange in the fall. Overall, a very beautiful and graceful miscanthus. Prefers well-draining soil in full sun for best performance. Considered deer resistant once established.
