A large, robust specimen of miscanthus with a full, arching form. Foliage is green and narrow giving it a delicate appearance, despite its large size. Takes on claret and yellow tones in the autumn. Zigzag plume segments appear in mid-September and are the darket bronze of the Miscanthus. One of the more cold-hardy miscanthus varieties. Prefers well-draining soil in full sun for maximum performance, but tolerates a wide range. Considered deer resistant once established.
