Another excellent, compact variety of miscanthus. A clump forming, warm weather grass. Its fine, narrow, dark green foliage is slightly more upright in form than 'Adagio'. Salmon-white plumes carried on handsome burgundy stems in late summer. Provides winter interest in the garden. Makes a wonderful smaller garden specimen and works well as a container plant. Prefers moist, well-draining soil in full sun for maximum performance, although considered drought tolerant and deer resistant once established. A better choice of grass for areas with warm winter climates. Common Name: Japanese Silver Grass
Mature Height: 5'
Flowering: Plumes in late summer
Spacing: 3-5'
