One of the more impressive, and most popular, hostas with deeply veined, large, glossy chartreuse leaves, which tower above other plants. A classic in the shade garden. Lavender flower spikes to 30-36" tall in early summer. One of the most sun tolerant, but best grown in bright shade to avoid leaf burn later in the summer. Prefers average moisture. Tolerant of a wide range of soils. Slug resistant. Apply aged manure or high nitrogen fertilizer, in late winter to early spring, for amazing growth. Very hardy. Late to emerge in spring.
