Santa Rosa Gardens

Shimmering, frosty-blue upright foliage makes this perennial a standout in the shade garden. Prefers partial to full shade. Moderate grower to 30 inches tall, clumps to 2 feet wide. Clusters of purple, trumpet-shaped flowers are displayed on 5 ft. tall stalks, above the foliage, in late spring. Use this enormous Hosta to fill lots of space in the shade garden. Plant under trees and in front of cool-colored shrubs. Its purple flowers and frosty blue leaves present a very unique foliage color in the garden and is best combined with creamy variegated plants. This hosta is suitable for container gardening as well. Prefers partial to full shade, with the surface of the soil kept moist, but not soggy.
