Santa Rosa Gardens

Big leaves of brilliant silver with deep purple/green veins. A diplomatic, neutral plant that blends and buffers disparate flower colors in the border. Divide clumps in spring every 3-4 years. Attracts hummingbirds to the garden!  Considered deer and rabbit resistant.

Interesting addition to indoor arrangements, flower stalks generally last about one week, while colorful foliage seems to last a month or more. It is recommended to cut leaves and flowers in the morning. Floral preservative will also help extend the flower life. Pick when half of the florets are open.
