Santa Rosa Gardens

This cultivar of Helleborus was bred by Gisela Schmiemann in Cologne Germany.  Blue Lady's flowers are a deep plum color that can glow red when the sun shines through the petals.  They have the traditional showy stamens that give these flowers a 3D texture.  Their evergreen foliage is leather-like in texture and a dark forest green.  They bloom late in the winter giving some color when you need it most.  For the best effect they should be planted in groups of six to give a spectacular display.  They can also be used as groundcovers or in containers.
