Gaura lindheimeri Siskyou Pink
A southwestern U.S. native perennial, clump-forming wildflower that shines in the garden, flowering from midsummer to frost. Deep maroon buds open to glowing reddish-pink flowers with white stamens, summer and fall. Deadhead to prolong bloom. Sun and good drainage required, with minimal water and care. Suitable for normal, sandy to clay soil, and custom made for hot, dry climates. Considered drought tolerant once established. Best used in informal flower and perennial borders.
