Gaura lindheimeri Blushing Butterflies
A dwarf selection with soft pink flowers over compact, very dark green foliage, May to October, although flowers are most abundant in late spring. Wiry stems are held upright and have a "see through" appearance. Prefers sun to light shade in moist, well-drained soil, however tolerant of drought and poor soil, as well as humidity. Native to Texas, Louisiana and Mexico. Excellent in containers, perennial borders, and is a good cut flower. Attracts butterflies, and is considered deer resistant once established.
