A superior new variety of coneflower. Vigorous grower with horizontal petals of intense, carmine red, flowers that curl back and surround a burnt orange cone center, blooming June through September. Fuzzy, coarse leaves on sturdy stems. Prefers full sun and well draining soil. Don't overwater. Makes a long lasting cut flower. Attracts butterflies in summer, and goldfinches love the seed in the fall! Excellent cut flower. Considered deer resistant when mature.
