I just unpacked my order that arrived this AM.  The packing was great, but what I was so impressed with were the plants.  These were actually plants I would have purchased if I had seen them in person.  I do a lot of mail ordering and am usually disappointed with the plants...But yours were great at a reasonable price.
 
I am attaching a photo to show you an example of what I was speaking of. On the right side are your plants, the left an order I received (from another supplier) that I was charged $106 for!  You see the difference?  I also sent the same photo to the other company and asked them to compare the quality!

Just want to tell you that the package arrived at my doorstep Wednesday afternoon. I was ultra impressed as to how my plants were packaged. They were so very nicely individually wrapped and the netting really helps keep the plants in place. The cooler bag is obviously a helpful plus as well.
 
I've ordered plants from other sources before but never, ever were they this nicely shipped. You will get my future business whenever I'm looking for something specific and special.

I received my first order of Sedges from you yesterday, and wanted to take a moment to compliment you on your product and service.

I ordered 7 each of 4 Sedges, at your sale prices late last week. They shipped on Monday, via UPS Ground, and arrived on Wednesday. The plants were exquisitely packaged! The mesh wrap not only held the soil in place, but bunched and protected the foliage. The overwrap of padded paper provided further protection, helped keep the plants moist, and kept them stationary in the cartons.

I have never received plants by mail in such perfect condition. The only casualty was a single flower stem on the free bonus Miscanthus sinensis 'Graziella' you so graciously included in the shipment.

I've just posted rave reviews for you on Garden Watchdog at Dave's Garden and on the GardenWeb Ornamental Grass Forum. You deserve positive attention for the quality of your product, the meticulous attention to detail in packaging for shipment, and your prices.

The plants are just beautiful, and the white "netting" around plant and pot is just brilliant. These are just about the tidiest plants I've ever received--great idea, and so convenient because I don't have to repot them right away.

I received the Candy Strip phlox I ordered on Tuesday...arrived to me in California on Thursday!! Not only was the delivery quick, the ordering process was very easy. Most importantly, you really saved me from having two holes in my new landscape when we realized that the season for this particular phlox ended a week earlier...could not find this plant anywhere locally. I was impressed by the excellent job of packing the plants for transport and the easy instructions for prepping them upon arrival.

I have ordered plants online for many years and from many different suppliers.  I can say without question that yours were of the highest quality of any I have ever received.  As well, the packing ensured that the plants arrived in great shape and none the worse the wear for being thrown about by UPS handlers and drivers.

My order arrived about an hour ago and I had to write as soon as possible to tell you how healthy the three Pennisetum orientale Karley Rose plants look!  I'm 62 and have been gardening since I was a young kid.  For at least 40 years, I have made many plant orders from many nurseries (not to mention direct buys from local nurseries) but the quality of your nursery stock has rarely been equaled, let alone surpassed.  I also appreciate the excellent packaging which prevented any degradation of your fine plants during shipping.
 
Since it's been raining here for many days, I haven't dug the spot in our yard where the plants will go.  The next few days are expected to be in the mid 90s, so I won't be doing much digging in are rock-filled New England soil until around next Wednesday, when the temperatures are supposed to moderate to the high 70s and low 80s.  Consequently, I potted out the Karley Rose plants in some nice light potting soil which should keep them happy until I can set them out in their permanent home.  I have to basically replace the soil anywhere I plant in our boulder-strewn yard---using some of the "native" topsoil, but supplementing it with potting soil, compost, and so on.
 
I also want to thank you for the unexpected gift of the mint gardener's soap, which I have already used.  It smells great and works well!

Wow!! I was amazed how fast the four wonderful boxes of grasses arrived, and in what wonderful condition they were. The roots were in SUCH good shape that I think they will survive the summer nicely, and grow well this first year. I am surely gong to pass on your name to interested friends.

I put half of them in the ground last evening, since the weather was wonderful, and I will do the rest today - or at least heel them in until their soil gets prepared.

I have dealt with any number of nurseries/gardens and therefore order from a new one with a bit of trepidation, especially when ordering on-line. I ordered 40 David phlox plants from Santa Rosa and:

1. They arrived exactly when indicated upon ordering.
2. The order status was available, in detail, from UPS and included day of delivery.
3. The plants arrived carefully packed, individually protected and tissue-wrapped.
4. The plants were, with no exceptions, in perfect condition, moist and upright.

I was most impressed, however, with the root masses upon planting. The plantings were actually root-bound in their containers and I expect them to take hold quickly and begin growing immediately.

Thank you for a completely satisfactory experience. I will not hesitate to order from Santa Rosa or to recommend you to my neighbors and friends.
