Cortaderia selloanna Pumila
Dwarf Pampas is more cold hardy than the species while growing smaller, yet sporting the same awesome white fluffy plumes. Really showy!
It thrives in hot, full sun exposures and is especially useful as a specimen grass. Plant 'Pumila' in moderately fertile soil with good drainage. Leave standing over the winter before cutting it back hard in mid-spring.
