Santa Rosa Gardens

Golden palm leaf sedge. Carries leaves aloft on slender stems, narrow and slightly recurved borne up the stems. Flowers are carried above leaves on long slender stalks.  Try to locate Variegated Palm sedge so you can view it with the early morning or late afternoon sun behind it. Any site/soil, sun or shade; moist to wet soil; needs ample water in hot dry locations.

Grow in fertile, moist soil. Most can take soggy soils. Keep deciduous species dryish in winter.
