Evergreen perennial grass/sedge. Arching clump of bright silver and green variegated leaves, attractive flower heads. Groupings of 3-5 make a stunning accent planted against other shade-loving perennials. Part sun to full shade. Prefers moist, well-drained soil, but is quite drought tolerant once established. Cut foliage to the ground in early spring before new growth occurs. Good in containers, or as a slowly spreading groundcover.
Grow in fertile, moist soil.
Most can take soggy soils.
Keep deciduous species dryish in winter.
