Tufted, blue-gray, grassy foliage bears grass-like flowers in mid to late summer. Plant in filtered sun, to shade in the South. Looks best with ample water and fertilizer, partial shade in hot summer areas. Considered drought tolerant once established, making it a valuable plant for dry, shady areas. Plant in masses for a splendid effect. Also used in containers, water, woodland and 'cottage' gardens. Evergreen in mild areas, and considered deer resistant.Common Name: Blue Zinger Sedge
