Calamagrostis acutiflora Avalanche

'Avalanche' is the newest feather reed grass cultivar. It is variegated, similar but showier than 'Overdam' with a wide white band down the center of each leaf blade. This pattern is the reverse of 'Overdam'. Flowering is similar to 'Karl Foerster' and like it, 'Avalanche' makes a attractive vertical accent in the garden.
