Santa Rosa Gardens

Hedge Bamboo is an evergreen clumping bamboo whose origin is China.  The culms (stems) are yellow in color.  In colder regions it can be used as an ornamental grass.  It thrives in warmer weather.  It is a deer resistant plant.  Mostly has an upright growth habit.  It can be used in container plantings, interiors, as a screen, or as a hedge.  Also, in colder climates this will need to be protected in the winter time.
