Santa Rosa Gardens

Bluestem Grass is a native with year round interest.  During the warm months the leaves are green and the dense feather-like green blooms will emerge.  Then as the weather turns colder the entire plant melts into a copper/orange color creating a wonderful winter color.  The growth habit of this grass is very upright and erect.  This grass is not drought tolerant; it tends to do well in damp areas.
