An excellent, fast-growing groundcover for moist, partly shady areas, including growing under trees. Shiny bronze and copper foliage is highlighted by blue flower spikes in spring. Requires good drainage. Do not overcrowd plants. Tolerant of most soil conditions, including poor soil. Prefers shade; tolerates sun in the north, if sufficient moisture is provided. Useful in containers as well. Will attract hummingbirds and butterflies to the garden, and is considered deer resistant when mature! Common Name: Metallica Bugleweed
