Though actually a member of the arum family (Calla lily and Jack-in-the-pulpit), 'Minimus' features tufts of yellow grassy-like leaf blades. As with most sweetflags, the foliage is sweetly fragrant. It is a wonderful groundcover, forming a stunning golden carpet.
Lighting: The plants grow best in full sunshine, outdoors.
Watering: Acorus is very much a water loving plant, and the soil must be kept continually moist.
Temperature: The plants are hardy, surviving very hot summers and very cold winters.
Fertilizing: Feed regularly as recommended by the manufacturer.
Pests and diseases: Very disease and pest free.
Growing in containers: This species will grow in pots as long as there is more than ample space for root growth.
